So I’ve been using the EVO 4G with CyanogenMod 6 Final and the CM6-Snapv8.2 Kernel, and it has been awesome.  I highly recommend doing the full root with the new ENG HBOOT so that you can get these two insane mods.  Now that 4G is creeping into Florida, I hope CM6 gets the necessary fix to enable the WiMax radio.  Other than that, it’s a great combination.  I use LauncherPro as my home screen manager, instead of the included ADW Launcher.  I’ve included a picture of it running on my phone after the break.  No HTC Sense, and that’s a good thing.
